R\u00e9put\u00e9 pour son travail scientifique et sa contribution \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9laboration de politiques sur \u00ab l&rsquo;\u00e9tat et le d\u00e9veloppement \u00bb, il a publi\u00e9 de nombreux ouvrages parmi lesquels on peut citer The Challenges of Globalization (en collaboration avec la University of Cape Town Press, 2003) et Constructing a Democratic Developmental State in South Africa: Potentials and Challenges. (publi\u00e9 par HSRC Press en 2010). <\/p>\n<p>Le Dr Edigheji a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 plus de 100 communications devant des d\u00e9cideurs et des universitaires du monde entier et a dispens\u00e9 des cours \u00e0 l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Witwatersrand \u00e0 Johannesburg et \u00e0 l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 M\u00e9tropolitaine Nelson Mandela de Port Elizabeth. <\/p>\n<p>Il est titulaire d&rsquo;un doctorat en sciences politiques de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 norv\u00e9gienne pour les Sciences et la Technologie de Trondheim, avec sp\u00e9cialisation en \u00e9conomie politique du d\u00e9veloppement, notamment des pays en d\u00e9veloppement.<\/p>\n<p>Dans cette interview, il aborde l&rsquo;importance et les enjeux de l&rsquo;\u00e9ducation sup\u00e9rieure et de la formation.<br \/>\n&#8211; Sur l&rsquo;importance de l&rsquo;\u00e9ducation sup\u00e9rieure:<br \/>\n\u00ab\u00a0We need to build a movement to transform the African higher education sector. Without higher education, there will be no development. Without higher education, we will not be able to address the crisis of poverty, inequality, massive unemployment and nation building on the continent\u2026\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Sur la question de l&#8217;emploi<br \/>\n\u00ab\u00a0We need Africans who will be able to create jobs, not just seek jobs. Higher education is critical for that.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Sur l&rsquo;opposition Penseurs Vs techniciens<br \/>\n\u00ab\u00a0Africa needs to produce a mass of critical thinkers but also needs to develop a mass of technicians.
