Sa superficie est d\u2019environ 2 345\u00a0410 km<sup>2<\/sup>, soit la deuxi\u00e8me en Afrique<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a>. Elle est secou\u00e9e par des guerres d&rsquo;agression et de tueries de tout genre, l&rsquo;\u0153uvre de plusieurs groupes arm\u00e9s locaux et \u00e9trangers. Cette situation qui perdure depuis de d\u00e9cennies ne lui permet pas le d\u00e9veloppement int\u00e9gral pourtant le peuple congolais a besoin de s&rsquo;\u00e9panouir tout autant que n&rsquo;importe quel autre peuple du monde.
