On y a d\u00e9nombr\u00e9 des crises et conflits n\u00e9s des coups d\u2019\u00c9tat r\u00e9currents ou li\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019explosion de la violence juv\u00e9nile, dans les m\u00e9tropoles urbaines. <\/p>\n<p>Pour en r\u00e9duire l\u2019occurrence ou les solutionner, plusieurs m\u00e9canismes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mobilis\u00e9s par les \u00c9tats et la communaut\u00e9 internationale, pour b\u00e2tir la paix. L\u2019ensemble des m\u00e9canismes, malheureusement, ont peu tenu compte des bonnes pratiques des acteurs politiques et sociaux africains. Pourtant, l\u2019Afrique ancienne garde une tradition originale en mati\u00e8re de gestion des diff\u00e9rents des diff\u00e9rends et de r\u00e8glement des conflits. Il s\u2019agit de la palabre ainsi que des m\u00e9canismes connexes, entendus comme lieu de rencontre et intelligence collective pour une coh\u00e9sion sociale. <\/p>\n<p>Cette r\u00e9flexion se propose ainsi, compte tenu de la prolif\u00e9ration des conflits en Afrique et de l\u2019inadaptabilit\u00e9 des r\u00e9ponses propos\u00e9es, de remonter l\u2019histoire et de faire appel aux m\u00e9canismes traditionnels de pr\u00e9vention et de gestion des conflits africains, et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9thique communautariste, d\u00e9finie par la Ma\u00e2t et l\u2019Ubuntu.
