Le fran\u00e7ais est langue officielle, l\u2019arabe jouit du prestige li\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019islam et le comorien est utilis\u00e9 surtout \u00e0 l\u2019oral pour tous les autres actes de la vie quotidienne. A l\u2019\u00e9cole, la langue d\u2019enseignement est le fran\u00e7ais alors que ce n\u2019est pas la langue premi\u00e8re des comoriens. Aux premi\u00e8res heures de la nation ind\u00e9pendante n\u00e9anmoins, une politique dite r\u00e9volutionnaire et anticoloniale a utilis\u00e9 le comorien et l\u2019a pleinement introduit \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole. Le comorien y est devenu, en quelque sorte, le versant linguistique d\u2019une comorianisation de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, le peuple devant, selon le chef de l\u2019\u00c9tat comorien Ali Soilihi, se r\u00e9approprier son identit\u00e9 et son pays. Mais cette p\u00e9riode n\u2019a dur\u00e9 que deux ans et depuis, les politiques linguistiques et \u00e9ducatives semblent souffrir d\u2019une forme d\u2019inertie. Cet article se propose d\u2019interroger la dimension postcoloniale de la question des langues et de leurs statuts dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 comorienne. Pour cela, nous pr\u00e9senterons tout d\u2019abord le r\u00f4le particulier de la langue durant la r\u00e9volution comorienne. Nous analyserons ensuite les politiques linguistiques mises en place jusqu\u2019\u00e0 nos jours.
